I have always been an unusual kind of person, I've felt that I don't belong here in the realm I exist, and generally don't have too many friends. And the abnormality escalated in eighth grade, I would go for walks outside, and decide to look for dead or fallen trees to make into a walking staff, or I'd go to a nearby park and climb to the top of the tallest tree and jump out, I didn't know why but I did. All I know about that is the fact that I walked away unscathed.

 

Later, still eighth grade, I was being picked on and we were learning about the Salem Witch Trials, needless to say I became known as the witch, (I preferred the warlock) and I thought that perhaps this was it. So, I went to the local library and found the only book I could about magickal spells and tested one out and almost eerily got an instantaneous reaction. It scared the hell out of me but after it all settled in, it felt right. For the first time in a long time I felt right.

 

And I've been attempting to self-teach ever since then. But as of late my original discomforting thoughts have been coming back, I'm beginning to feel like I really shouldn't be here on this plane of existence.
