Aunt Alice's Amazing ANGELIC Crystal Ball
As a child, my favorite bed-time story was the one I am about to tell you now...
In my Grandmother's own words...
Your Great Aunt Alice was a beautiful woman. Did you know she was posing for magazine ads by the time she was just 15? Her beauty was her career from the time she was 14 until she was 24. That’s when she met Matthew, your Great Uncle.
And do you know where she met him? The traveling carnival of all things. Can you believe that?
Even though the “dirty 30s” had bankrupted most of the town’s folk, your Aunt Alice always made sure that she had enough money set aside to take the entire family to the carnival. And My Oh My, did we ever have a good time.
Your Uncle Matthew was “taken” with Aunt Alice from the very moment he saw her, and she with him. I was there that night you know, and I swear, it was love at first sight for the both of them.
Matthew was what you would call a grunt worker. He hauled the equipment and worked to set up the rides and booths. He didn’t have any other job than that.
That never mattered to Alice though. She loved him for all she was worth, grunt worker or not.
They met on the midway. Passer-bys amongst dozens of people, and yet, their eyes met.
It was a fairy tale romance from the very beginning.
5 days that carnival was in town and I remember it being the best days of the summer because Alice made sure to take us there everyday in order to spend time with her Matthew.
When they were first dating, Matthew, not knowing there was magic in our bloodlines, took us and your Aunt Alice to the fortune teller’s tent. Her name was Marcella and she was of Romany decent. She was a wonderful woman and although I hesitate to call her a gypsy, she did play the part very well. During quiet times at the carnival, she would read our palms and tell us all about the wonderful families we would have one day.
Marcella was a true psychic and probably one of the few genuine carnival fortune tellers during that time. She was very powerful and I remember the energy around her was very drawing, inviting, and even intoxicating at times.
With Matthew present, she would make a game of the fortune telling, sensing that we didn’t want him to know of our abilities. But during the times where he would go back to work and we had a chance to really talk, she revealed to us many things.
Alice and I would come home on those nights and write lists of everything she told us and I can tell you now, after almost living out my life, that all of those things have come to pass.
On the 5th evening, we were very sad to see the carnival packing up. By that time, Matthew had decided to stay and had received a job with one of the local farmers. Marcella also told us that this would be her last carnival as she had saved up the money she needed to travel to Canada where her sister was waiting for her.
Before she left, she gave Alice and I each a gift. A beautiful crystal ball. These were the crystals that she used for all those years with the carnival and they hold much magic. Some day, they will both be yours.
Of course, I left a lot of the story out, but I wanted to tell you how these crystals came to be in my possession.
They’ve been in our family since 1943!
I have used them both so much over the years and have debated for a long time whether to release one.
I’ve finally come to the conclusion that my Grandmother and my Aunt would not want me hoarding both of them and really, I will have no one to pass them on to as my children already have inherited crystals waiting for them when the time comes.
So…after much debate…here it is
Aunt Alice’s Crystal Ball
This crystal ball is quite large and is very heavy. It measures 15 inches around…so roughly the size of a cantaloupe.
It is real crystal…it has some very minor inclusions, but other than that, it one of the most beautiful pieces I have ever seen.
Included is a vintage stand. Its made of brass and depicts 3 Ram’s heads. Its very ornate and definitely unusual.
It has over 67 years worth of energy, psychic work, and castings upon it.
Like I said in the story, it was already a powerful piece when my Aunt received it.
There are so many facets to this crystal, I hardly know where to begin.
It can be used as a psychic’s tool, of course, but there is so much more to it than that.
The guide or guardian, as some would call her, is an angelic being of the highest power. She is a true Seraphim Angel.
Kelyah was not summoned nor conjured. She simply came to be with this piece of her own free will.
She has never said how, why, or even when, but I have often wondered if Marcella had a connection with the heavens that no one else has ever had.
She has promised to reside with whomever and wherever her vessel crystal resides, for as long as the crystal is in existence.
