Spirited Enterprise

This is uncrossing potion is one that I found in a manuscript written during the 1920s. It's one of my favorites!

Ingredients:

1/2 cup cottonseed oil (technically you can use any carrier oil)

1 teaspoon ground hyssop 

1 teaspoon powdered sandalwood

1 teaspoon powdered patchouli leaf (people often used patchouli perfume back in the old days, but powdered works best)

1 teaspoon myrrh resin

1 teaspoon crushed vervain

1 teaspoon cinquefoil

1 pinch of salt (I use fine sea salt)

10 drops urine.

Glass jar large enough to hold all of your ingredients

Dark colored bottle to hold your oil when it's finished (amber or cobalt works best)

Mix the hyssop, sandalwood, patchouli, myrrh, vervain and cinquefoil using a pedstle and motar. You dont have to grind everything until its a fine dust but make sure that your ingredients are mixed well. 

Pour your oil into the jar. Add your herbs. Put the cover on. Shake well. Allow this mixture to sit anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks. Some people like to set these mixtures out in the moonlight during the night and store in a dark cool place during the day. I store my own tinctures in the basement - its dark and cool.  

If you like to incorporate moon phases, then this should be started on a waning moon.

When the time is up, strain the herbs using a cheese cloth. Add the urine and salt to the strained oil and bottle. If you're using a clear bottle, again, store in a dark, cool place. If you're using cobalt or amber colored bottles, you can store this oil anywhere except in direct sunlight - too much heat makes the oil smell funny. When stored correctly, this oil can be kept for years!

Even though it sounds disgusting, urine is a very powerful uncrossing and commanding agent. The urine should be collected during your first potty break of the day on the day you plan to finish your potion. This uncrossing oil should be used only for yourself. 

f you're making the uncrossing oil for someone else, you must get a urine sample from them. Again, first pottybreak of the day. If you need to collect the urine in advance (in the instance of shipping or whatever) then you can do so upto 1 week prior to finishing your potion. Make sure you store it in the fridge until you're ready to complete your tincture.

If the urine process is just too much for you, you can replace the urine with 8 drops of household ammonia.

You can use this oil whenever you're feeling crossed. Before each use, shake it up. Apply it to your wrists, brow and dab behind your ears. You can also add a few drops to your bath water, annoint candles, etc.

WARNING: DO NOT ingest this potion. Hyssop is an herb that is rumored to cause birth defects in unborn babies when ingested.
