One of the oldest folk remedies for grief is called a grieving string or grieving necklace.
It works best when worn around the neck, hung around a bedpost or handled when grief sneaks up on you.
Some people even like to hang a small strand in their car.
What you need:
Whole cloves
Whole juniper berries
Thick Sewing needle
Strong red thread or string that can be threaded through your needle eye
Soak the cloves ...

Draw a warm bath. The water should be only as warm/hot as is comfortable.
Just before getting in add the following:
5 drops of jasmine essential oil
5 drops of lavender essential oil
3 drops of honeysuckle absolute
3 drops of neroli essential oil
You can also use this same combination of essential oils in a diffuser during your bath or before bed time.

One of the reasons Raven and I decided to have this online conversation is because an acquaintance of ours; a man; had told us about his experience in joining a new age coven.
One of their requirements is that after studies, prior to initiation, he was required to have sex with the high priestess. It didn't matter that he was married. It was just their requirement.
Although there are some covens that have a lot of sexual stuff among their group...

Did you know...
ONLY in the book of Enoch are the Galgallim angels labeled correctly as a separate class. Im most other texts (Ezekiel 10:13 for example) this wonderful class of angel is grouped together with the Ophanim.
The title of Galgallim litererally translates as "wheels."
The Galgallim angels are most known for their ability to set things into motion and their knack for keeping things going until the end, whatever that may be.
They and their hybrid offsp...

I get a lot of questions on how to use oils and mists.
Here is a great list of ways to use them.
~ Annoint your ritual tools prior to spellwork
~ Rub a dab between the palms of your hands and breathe to experience the attributes of the oils/mists
~ Apply to your pulse points to experience the effects all day
~ Use as a mist and spray like a room deodorizor
~ Spray or drop oils/mists that have cleansing properties into corners ...

Unless you have an open crypt nearby, authentic coffin nails are hard to come by in this day and age.
Here is how you can make your own.
Collect some graveyard dirt - Dirt from the grave of a magickal person is preferred but the dirt from an ancestor works just as well.
Purchase some nails from your local hardware store.
Store t...

This is a spell that is designed to attract someone that you know personally - not a stranger or someone you’ve seen from afar. It should be someone that you want to have a relationship with.
Needed:
Sugar
White Votive Candle
Bowl
Nail from the house of lovers
Rain, spring or river water
A location outside where you can burn your candle - I use a tree stump
Something that, to you, represents the person that...

Ok, so that’s not exactly true. I haven’t hexed my exes…or at least, not all of them HA!!
I wanted to take a moment to clear up some common misconceptions about hexing and the different types.
First, there are hexes that target a person as a whole. This kind of hex affects everything the target does in life from the moment you place the hex on them for either the rest of their life or until you remove it. These kind of hexes are known by s...

Have you ever heard of it?
Charm Licking is an old superstition that goes back many centuries.
It was said that the afflicted individual could take the affected magickal charm and lick it to break the spell.
First the charm was licked up and down, from top to bottom, and then back and forth, from left to right and then a third time from top to bottom.
If the mouth salivated and the individual tasted a salty or bitter taste, then it was thought that the spell was ...

If you’re going to be a collector of entities and/or spirits, there are a few things that are must haves.
One of the most important things you can gift yourself as a collector is a banishing box.
First, let’s talk about what a banishing box does. It does not harm entities or spirits. It simply releases the bindings and places the entity or spirit in another realm where it can no longer cause harm or chaos.

The practice of divining with dominoes is "travelers" magick or gypsy magick.
You can use store-bought dominoes if you like. Many of the old schoolers tend to use dominoes carved from bone.
Place your dominoes face down. Shuffle them prior to each draw.
Usually one question is asked and 3 dominoes are drawn and interpreted.
I know that there are books out there on the subject, but I've found that most of what is out...

When a human being is possessed or being influenced by demonic or evil forces, the correct title for that individual is a "Demoniac."
A Demoniac is an individual whos thoughts AND actions are both controlled.
In more recent times, demoniac became a title given to human beings who either resemble a demon physically or possess the skills or traits of a demon or evil spirit.

This is one of the older, more original Compelling Oils.
1/2 cup carrier oil - I like almond oil for this mixture
1 tablespoon Patchouli
1 tablespoon Vetivert
1/4 of a lime, cut into strips - I also like to add a pinch of ground lime rind to the mixture.
5 whole bay leaves
Mix all of this up in a jar - I like the old school canning jars. Allow to steep for 2 weeks in a dark place. I also recommend shaking the jar once a day or so.
When the time is up,...

When performing a summoning or conjuration on a darker entity (not a spirit), there are several different versions of what should and shouldnt be used.
One of the oldest forms of incense used in black magick conjure and summoning is a mixture called "Baneful Incense." Initially, the mixture was just the solid ingredients. Later, essential oils were added to the recipe to make it even more potent.
Needed:
1 Tablespoon of each:
Dragons Blood Resin
Myrrh Resin
