About Me
In January 1988, I learned about crystals. In February, I stepped into a bookstore that sold books about magick*, magickal tools, and spirituality that wasn't Judeo-Christian. From those two introductions, I knew I'd found what my soul always knew.
Through the years, I've learned from others, including that I'm not coven or Wiccan material. I've studied on my own, reveling in the solitaire life. I've experimented with the magickal color spectrum. My witchery is mostly folk magick / hedge witchery.
I live in Oregon. I've several city parks to go to and dozens more county parks. An hour's drive west takes me to the ocean; the mountains are east. I often wildcraft what I need. What I can't wildcraft, I create at home from bartered or bought items.
What a seeker receives from me depends on what they want. I’ll read the tarot or use a pendulum for them. I'll create a specific spell for them to do, educating them about using their emotions and energy. (I also insist that they sign a contract stating that they know that the results belong to them, not me.) I have hand-crafted products they can use in their spells: candles, incense, blended oils, tisanes, jewelry and other things. If a seeker asks me to actually do a spell for them, I usually say "no" because of the time involved. I call myself a witch. Let others judge whether or not it's an evil word. I ask for payment as did the ancients, although I ask for greenbacks, not silver. I educate others that "not for personal gain" is fiction, as are Gandalf, Endora, and Harry Potter. I am alive and well - and a witch. Blessed Be,
* Yes, I use the "k" in writing about magick, and not sleight-of-hand. |
