This photo was taken in 2001 in a house that was reported by the owners to be haunted. This grate is actually in the celing and while photographing water damage for the insurance company, this is what they caught on film! A medium that "investigated" the house for possible haunting claimed that this area of the house was actually a portal. This photo is the only photo ever taken in the house that actually shows spirit activity.

Just to let you all know, this portal was closed by a professional a few weeks after this photo was taken. It was, I guess, what you would call a duality portal as it was un-guarded and let anything and everything through, good and bad.
The first time I looked at it after reading your post, Lady Isolde, I had a negative feeling, but I'm not sure if it's because it was already in my mind. The more I focus on it....OK I JUST looked closer and behind the white ball of light I see a dark figure. I see both its eyes and its mouth appears to be open. The face appears to be a pale type of purple and all around it it's black... reminds me of a black cloak. I had to push my laptop screen back a little so I could see it more clearly with out so much of the screen's light shining into my eye. Kind of... freaky-ish. You have to look REALLY close, but I definitely see a face. I THINK I see a tiny, pointed ear on the top of its head.. the other ear must be covered by part of the grate.
Wow, Im sure if it was a dark portal, Lena would love it, she loves eating dark entities 
I am not sure why, but there is something about this photo that bothers me. Like it shouldn't of been taken. When I look at the center of it for to long I get a horrible dread type feeling. So after this post, no more looking for me!
